I don't think any of that is within her personality type. She seems to actually believe in the concept of "privacy" and not in the way her husband does by making livestreams and snarky comments on social media, then placing the cloak of privacy back on. The information that is already out there about Lloyd's behaviour both in and outside the marriage is pretty damning and probably much more than she was ever comfortable with being released. I also believe that she is fearful of him. Her coming out directly with information and solid proof of what he's been up to will lead to him completely burning all bridges with her, a fierce custody battle, and probably fleeing the country and abandonment of his children if he's forced to pay significant child support.

I get why she needs to keep some semblance of a good relationship with him. He can make life miserable for her and I have no doubt he would do so if he felt she was being antagonistic with him. She doesn't need to intentionally provoke him, but she also doesn't need to show up in the lounge on Jabba the Hutt's sail barge.

This is true, and he gave a hint of it in the livestream. He made a comment he was out getting edibles in Thailand, so he was probably pretty wasted much of the time. He's still stuck in his "JW rebel" mindset and purposely seeks out vices that would get him disfellowshipped several times over. It's a point of pride for him. In making the comment about getting edibles, he added that many exJWs would think he's "even more of a villain" and had a sarcastic smirk on his face. Lloyd reminds me of the idiots at the party who are always trying to one-up others by trading stories about how wasted they were and the crazy situations they found themselves in.

It's why he included the part about humping a Christmas tree in his book. He was very drunk and it was something he was trying to brag about.

From what little I know of her and of the way you've described her, it seems like this was the case. When I say was, I am speaking of before she knew what he was up to in Thailand. It's one thing to be ignorant. It's something else to willfully ignorant. I say willfully because there had to have come a point where she heard what the fuss was about and why Lloyd was losing support. I wouldn't expect her to be an expert on the sex tourism industry and as a non-partaker, I know much more now than I did before. But I did know enough to know that a man travelling alone to Thailand was to see prostitutes, possibly underage ones.

If she still does not know about the sex tourism industry as we speak (5 January 2023) then she is being willfully ignorant. It's like knowing nothing about crypto and what it is, and have your husband tell you he has placed all your family's savings into bitcoin, only to nod and never bothering once to google the term and educate yourself. A simple google on Thailand and "sex tourism", sex workers", "prostitutes", etc will bring up a treasure trove of information. If she didn't bother to search for information then she really needs to get her head out of her ass and start acting like a woman in her late 30's with two young children and not some JW wife.

When Lloyd was posting here about his attempts to wake up his wife (she left roughly a year after he did), I was joking privately with a friend that it seemed she didn't have a choice in the matter. Knowing what we do now about Lloyd, I think we can begin to imagine the pressure she was under to leave. Don't get me wrong, I am glad she woke up and left the JWs, but you should never be under duress to do so. Everyone needs to wake up on their own timescale and upon their own volition. The pressure placed on her likely included regularly mocking her beliefs, seeking out arguments, pushing her into doing things she still believed were wrong, and just general douchebaggery when most loving husbands would be patient and try to move the process along gradually and at their pace.

I say this because it seems like Dijana has a lot of the lingering JW mindsets. She was awakened, but probably not in the way her personality called for. Seems like she was shamed and pressured into it and as a result has been artificially awakened in the sense that she might have not been at the point yet in her life. But her husband was an apostate now and was impatient with her, so she felt she needed to follow him out. And the information she had was likely filtered solely through him rather than her joining a JW support group and finding out what other questioning JWs thought.

I believe she's part of the whole grift and is maybe fine as long as some of the $$$ comes her way.

As long as she’s benefitting from his activism-for-hire, she’s a part of it. The only question is how much. There are clues, primarily his last rant about how Kim nearly left himself, Tibor and Dijana “unemployed”.

There are others if you don’t want to take his word for it, such as her filming his self-congratulatory 100K YouTube subscribers video this summer, months after he moved out. She obviously either disagrees with or even more disturbingly, doesn’t care about the case made against him for being a CSA advocate whilst utilising the services of trafficked women.

She's used people for "help" when she needed it, but it seemed like it was really for leverage to get a better deal (?), not to actually move on.

This is a crucial question. Was the divorce was her actually giving up on the marriage or her playing the only card she had in order to get him back from Thailand? Little of both? Where does this stand now?

We only have his words to go by, which is that they are in a trial separation period where they (he) explore independent lives. If that is true then she has backed down somewhat on her demand for a divorce.

Putting on my Lloyd cap (and it is as sweaty and smelly as you can imagine), I see a desperate man trying to negotiate his way out of a divorce the moment he stepped off the plane. He goes directly to the girls and puts on a sappy display filled with tears and expressions of love. After extending that scene for as long as he could, he wearily waddles over to Dijana, extending his arms for a hug and as she relents, he holds on to her tight and wordlessly sobs some more. This is only the beginning of the manipulation. After the buzz of him being home wears off, they set a time for talking. With great emotion he tells her that despite his faults, he never ever gave up on their marriage as she is doing now. As she tries to explain her side, he keeps coming back to this point.

Post livestream, things have changed greatly and the chess board has been overturned. His phone is blowing up with DMs and texts from betrayed friends and confused followers. Patreon is in freefall. Images of Lloyd with the sex worker is all over the place. Rebuttal livestreams and videos are coming out with additional information.

He knows who released this information. Not Kim. His wife did. He starts speaking of suicide and is in disbelief as to how his wife “betrayed” him. Any attempts to explain that this was the situation he put them in is quickly parried and the subject changed right back to what she did.

This is what he does all the time. When he fucks up, he switches it up to bring out your faults to compare against his. He said sorry, now it’s her turn. She won’t win nor will she ever. The only way out is to walk away for good.

People get divorced, no one owes you a happy ending. Part of being an adult is to recognise things for what they are and for what they aren’t. Some marriages can be fixed. This one cannot. Any “fix” is temporary.

You make an excellent point. For someone whose main (only?) outlet to the world is the internet, I certainly can see him setting this up in advance. For socially and geographically isolated people such as Lloyd, every in-person human interaction is embellished. The friendly server at the restaurant he frequents is his “friend”, someone who wrote an article for him at JW Watch is now a “correspondent”, and the woman/girl/ladyboy he paid for sex is his “date”. He can call it whatever he wants. He paid in cash for sex.

Or maybe he likes to watch. Who knows.

The only way he could "date" a sex worker in the context he uses it in, is if he talked to her online in advance of going to Thailand.

I’m sure they have packages for everyone and everything. With the incel movement being what it is, there’s probably a dial for how “aggressive” you want the sex worker to be in getting into your hotel room. Who the fuck thinks like that? This is not some “friends with benefits” deal, this is what is in all likelihood her only sexual partner ever, the father of her two children and husband of 15 years. And to see him so casually disregard her and pump his own chest about how it’s so wonderful to play the field a bit and get women interested in him!?

I admit this is all speculation on my part, but my gut tells me he has her so firmly wedged underneath his boot this was actually one of his better episodes. If he’s brave enough to tell his wife she doesn’t sexually please him, I’m willing to bet his behaviour in the bedroom varies from outright mocking her to storming off in a fit and fake crying in the next room.

She probably believes she’s unattractive and fucks like a JW precisely because that’s exactly what he’s screaming at her about.

It’s not too late, especially when you are still on this side of 40. He’s effectively holding her and the family hostage with this “separation”, which is pretty much the status quo for a year now, only that he gets to be open to the world about it. 2022 was essentially a sloppy way of getting his open marriage.

You are spot on. I can speak from the time when he was posting here before we knew what his real name was: he was doing precisely this. He wasn’t interested in the 95% or even the 99% in agreement. If you had a disagreement with him, no matter how minor, he would at best never trust you again and would look to contradict you in a future post.

At worst he would ride you hard until you just gave up out of exhaustion and then circle you in a victory lap. He was that vicious. If you dared to stand up to him, he’d insist you were attacking him and his wife and would give this sob story about him suffering from depression. He basically did to you exactly what he was accusing you of, and his supporters would line up to take cheap shots at you.

He’s a liar, a bully, and mentally ill. What makes him dangerous is the amount of time he has on his hands. Some people laughed at him when he ranted at Kim and the M7 that he would spend the next 40 years travelling far and wide to exact his revenge.

I didn’t. Though the link is now dead, he meant every fucking word of that. He’s serious.

If you have the time read “Raven” - the biography of Jim Jones written by a reporter who was shot on the tarmac in Guyana. Not trying to make a direct comparison between JLE and Jones, but a poignant remark was made about Jones in the end.

He had no intention of People’s Temple ever surviving him. Lloyd has a similar mindset. If he can’t dominate this community or at very least make a good living off of it, he will take it down in flames with him.

FYI you can "date" sw in Thailand. You just have to pay for it. It's another "service" they provide.

Someone pasted an ad here for this type of service. It’s why no one is buying these semantic games he’s playing. These “rent-a-date” services end the same way as the classic solicitations, right? Money is paid for the service and he sees the same sex worker on several “dates” for how many he pays for. There’s sex at the end of it either way. No one’s paying for someone to pretend to be charmed by your advances, not even someone as pathetic as Lloyd. I’d imagine this service is geared towards men with low self-esteem or ones who have been especially unlucky with ladies (Lloyd) so it makes the whole sex-for-hire experience somewhat more palatable. I’m sure if he pays the higher tier he’ll even get a letter supposedly from the sex worker afterwards saying they are so into him and are awaiting his return.

The Lloyd Evans Parody account has pasted snippets of this email to Dijana more than a few times on Twitter. He was trying to excuse his Thailand behaviour and save his marriage, so we got to see Lloyd in the negotiator role in a bid to stop his wife from divorcing him. His compromise was to come off the dating apps and see a sex worker in Zagreb every 2 or 3 months.

Classic abuser tactics, promise whatever just to halt the divorce and then return right to it once they feel safe again. Watch “OJ: Made in America”. Placing the double murder aside, OJ pulled the same shit when his wife was close to leaving.

For a decade now people have been taking your advice and “letting it go” and “people will figure out the real Lloyd on their own!”. I left for probably a period of 3 years or so only to find out he was still abusing people and finding more victims. Same similar story and a tonne of people saying they didn’t know he was this way. Oh, and he just paid for sex in a country known for exploited, kidnapped and trafficked women with the money he was collecting from exJWs.

So it is our problem. If he can call Tony Morris out for buying expensive scotch for over a year we can definitely afford to kick this asshole to let him know he’s not welcome.

And fuck me, that familiar nasal monotone always came up when you entered in something JW related on YouTube. It’s almost like Noel and Liam Gallagher had an annoying and overweight brother who was even more of an asshole than either of them.

It’s 2023 and he’s still on the prowl for more victims as we speak. And if this thread was locked 8 months ago we’d be relying on EXJW Reddit for the approved scoop on him.

He’d be even more abusive and with his war chest still intact he’d be hiring an Australian lawyer to harass Kim and a UK one for Marc and Cora, an American one for Mike/Kim and Joel. Fuck that, I’m leaving out the rat traps.

From the Andrew Gold Interview April 14 2022 , Lloyd Evans said about Thailand ,and I quote : I dated a sex-worker.

He not only admitted he was dating a sex worker to Andrew Gold, but also to @ThaiPleasures:

I’m guessing they saw each other on her night off? Did she meet Lloyd, decide he was worth pursuing and applied for and received time off from her trafficker boss? If she were freelance, she chose to miss out on a week’s worth or more of pay so she could date Lloyd?

Lloyd is quick to paint everyone who says he went to Thailand and paid for sex as a liar. He does this for a reason: to wriggle his way out of the scandal and claim he is not compromised as a CSA advocate. However, his Facebook post on 3 February 2022 contradicts his claim:

Suffice to say, not that its anyone’s business but of those I met in Thailand, sex workers or otherwise…

Notice the plural form of “sex worker”. This was a carefully crafted statement that had all the paragraphs numbered, so it wasn’t some typo. He admitted something here that he didn’t mean to admit: There was more than one sex worker, which calls into question the statement he made to Andrew Gold.

He’d have to have dated more than one sex worker during his month on holiday in Thailand. Dating one romantically is preposterous enough, but more than one? Like any clumsy liar, he can’t keep his story straight.

As he said at the end of the livestream, let the audience adjudicate.

For my part I would like to paraphrase a famous quote from Soviet dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn:
